Oslo Davis' illustrations are to Melbourne what Woody Allen's films are to New York, we know and live alongside the subjects of 'Overheard', praying to god that wasn't our conversation he was eavesdropping on. Capturing the spirit of his home town with immediacy and an incredible sense of humour, Oslo illustrates for The Age, The New York Times, Meredith Music Festival, NGV Australia, Readings, Meanjin, and Art Guide Australia. He most recently wrote, directed and illustrated a short film titled 'Melbhattan,' part homage, part pastiche of the opening sequence of Woody Allen’s seminal 1979 film 'Manhattan.' It screened during the 2012 Summer, amongst the skyscrapers at the Rooftop Cinema. Dreamy.
